Submersible Pumps
Submersible Pumps
Submersible water sumps are designed to function underwater. This means they should be used inside a pump or chamber to keep them continually submerged. Because of this, they are sometimes referred to as ‘sump pumps’.
There are submersible pumps designed to handle clean water and pumps designed for both clean and dirty water. Clean water pumps are suitable for moving water without any solid particles. This includes emptying water tanks, septic tanks, cisterns, and swimming pools and removing water from small flooded areas. They can also be used to dispose of wastewater from dishwashers or washing machines.
Dirty water pumps are suitable for removing clean water and dirty water that contains some solid particles. This includes home wastewater, flood water and pond water. Different dirty water submersible pumps can handle different maximum particle sizes, so you’ll need to make the right choice for your desired usage.
